Fallout 76 has been a wild ride ever since it was released. Its catastrophic launch has gone down as one of the most memorable events in recent gaming history, but not even that could stop it from bouncing back. Countless updates have turned the game into a beloved MMORPG, and perhaps the best part about its redemption arc is that every single content expansion Fallout 76 has received so far is free for every player to experience. Here, we’ll be covering every major add-on the game has received to help players who want to experience everything in order.
Fallout 76 Embraces Its Own Manifest Destiny with the Burning Springs Update – Game Rant Advance
Fallout 76’s Burning Springs update takes players into Ohio, and for Game Rant Advance, we reflect on the growth of Fallout 76 and the IP as a whole.
All Fallout 76 Add-Ons in Chronological Order
Content updates for Fallout 76 vary in size and scope. Most added new content like fishing and raids for players to experience, while some completely changed how the game feels and plays.
Before moving onto the meat and potatoes of this guide, do keep in mind that there is no proper order for quests and such in Fallout 76. You can do any questline at any time (provided conditions are met), and as long as you stick to one questline at a time, you should have no trouble following any of the stories the game has to offer. Fallout 76 is best experienced through organic exploration, and if you’re not particularly interested in the story content from one expansion, then you can skip it entirely or put it aside for later with little to no consequence.

Is Fallout 76 Worth Playing Now?
Absolutely, but if you’re a fan of Fallout 4 or any of the previous games, you still need to understand that Fallout 76 is still an MMORPG. The game has plenty of social aspects and content that’s made for more than one play, though you can still experience the vast majority of it alone.
In terms of technical polish and stability, the game is in a good spot. Fallout 76 is infamous for its disastrous launch, but the game is perfectly playable now. Many of its grievances regarding balancing and quality-of-life stuff have also been addressed. There are still some issues that need to get ironed out, and its online-only element can be a pain for some players, but the game is definitely worth trying out now.
