O.S.C.A.R. is an extreme threat in Astro Malorum, and he’s been designed in a way that killing him is its own reward. OSCAR is designed to be a miniboss enemy that you should actively avoid rather than go out of your way to kill when he spawns. This is easily done, as OSCAR will slowly patrol the map looking for you, and if he finds you, you can simply run away, as OSCAR is extremely slow.

OSCAR does have a few tricks that make him a tough target when he finds you. Not only does OSCAR have absurdly high health, but he will also buff zombies near him, imbuing them with red eyes so that they run at you faster and hit you harder. His laser attacks also deal plenty of damage, and his drones ensure his immunity. As such, we highly advise avoiding OSCAR.

However, there’s still a way to bring this machine down to the scrap heap. While OSCAR does not have any elemental weaknesses, you should attempt to kill OSCAR with traps.
