In Fury Green, the first major “dungeon” (for lack of a better term) in Metroid Prime 4 will have some mysterious Psychic Platforms that lead to one of the many collectibles in the game. To stand on these platforms, Samus will need a particular power-up called Psychic Boots.
In this guide, we’ll explain to you how to get Psychic Boots and how they work in Metroid Prime 4.

Metroid Prime 4: How to Get Psychic Boots
Hop on the Psychic Platforms
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to access the Psychic Platforms in Metroid Prime 4′s Fury Green area until you manage to fully complete the second area of the game, Volt Forge.
The electric-themed dungeon will task Samus with turning on two generators for two towers, unlocking her shiny new motorbike in the process, Vi-O-La.
Once you successfully get the power running for both towers, you’ll naturally progress through the finale of Volt Forge, leading to a boss fight with Xelios. And after Xelios is defeated, you will finally get the Psychic Boots as a reward.
Not only will the Psychic Boots allow Samus to stand on those special platforms, but they also act as a double jump ability, letting you reach high areas now. You can do the second jump by just pressing the B or L button while airborne. You don’t need to worry about equipping the item, as it will work automatically.
