Xbox Game Pass Officially Adds Its 15th Game Awards 2025 Nominee
Lost Records: Bloom and Rage is now available on Xbox Game Pass, having launched across three of its tiers. It marks the 211th title added to the service this year and the 15th nominee from The Game Awards 2025 to join Xbox Game Pass.
The latest title from Life is Strange developer Don’t Nod, Lost Records: Bloom and Rage is an episodic narrative-driven adventure that’s a combination of a coming-of-age story and a thriller taking place across two timelines: 1995 and 2022. Its first part—or “tape,” to use the game’s jargon—was released in mid-February 2025, debuting to largely favorable reviews, as underscored by its 75 OpenCritic average score. Tape 2 launched two months later to a slightly more reserved critical reception, achieving a 71 average score on OpenCritic. Reviewers praised Lost Records: Bloom and Rage for compelling writing full of memorable characters and an intoxicating atmosphere, but while noting that its choices lacked impact and the 1995 timeline was more engaging than the present-day storyline.

Lost Records: Bloom and Rage Now Available on 3 Xbox Game Pass Tiers
Lost Records: Bloom and Rage is available on Microsoft’s subscription service beginning today, December 2. Since it’s not a day-one release, it can be played across every non-Essential Game Pass tier: Premium, PC, and Ultimate. It is the second title to join the platform this month, following the day-one addition of Marvel Cosmic Invasion to Xbox Game Pass on December 1.
Xbox Game Pass Now Has 15 TGA 2025 Nominees
Looking at the whole of 2025, Lost Records: Bloom and Rage is the 211th new title to reach Xbox Game Pass since the beginning of the year. For a more narrow perspective, it is also the 15th The Game Awards 2025 nominee to be added to Microsoft’s subscription service. The story-driven adventure was nominated in the Games for Impact category, which honors titles with a positive social message. Lost Records: Bloom and Rage is competing in that category with one other Xbox Game Pass title, South of Midnight, developed by Microsoft subsidiary Compulsion Games. TGA 2025 will take place on December 11. The ceremony is widely expected to be dominated by another Xbox Game Pass game—Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, which already set a new show record with 12 nominations across 10 categories.

Xbox Game Pass Arrivals May Slow Down This Month
Three other titles are currently confirmed to be coming to Xbox Game Pass in December 2025: Routine, Dome Keeper, and A Game About Digging A Hole. The full Wave 1 lineup for the month is expected to be officially detailed later this week, possibly as early as today, December 2. However, based on previous years, the overall pace of additions is expected to slow for the remainder of the month—especially compared to November, when 20 new titles were added to the service.

Past years also suggest that Microsoft may temporarily alter its typical Xbox Game Pass announcement cadence by consolidating all December 2025 titles into a single lineup reveal rather than doing Wave 1 and 2 separately. Should that happen, the company will most likely revert to its usual two-wave announcement schedule in January 2026.
