How to Farm Points in Black Ops 7 Zombies

Essence is the blood of Black Ops 7 Zombies, and it’s how you’re going to afford the plentiful amounts of doors, Perks, Pack-a-Punch, Armor Tiers, and more. Without Essence, you’re not getting very far, and you can make heaps of progress easily in the early rounds, so you’re ready for what Ashes of the Damned throws at you next. However, if you really want to stay ahead of the curve, then you’re going to need to know how to farm Essence, and more specifically, how you can easily get points faster than your teammates to get all Perks within just a few rounds.

How to Quickly Get Points in Black Ops 7 Zombies

There are a few ways that you can quickly farm points in Black Ops 7 Zombies, so if you want to make sure you’re getting the most out of your zombie kills, check out how we amass our piles of Essence below:

Focus on Critical Kills

Critical Kills will be the most essential part to any match of Zombies, and that’s not just because they deal the most amounts of damage to the undead. In fact, Critical Kills are a reward in themselves, as they deal the most damage and grant the most amount of points. A usual zombie kill only rewards 90 Essence, but with a Critical Kill, it’s always going to be 115 Essence. While 25 Essence doesn’t sound like much, when the hordes begin to flood in, you’re definitely going to notice the difference. The easiest way to get Critical Kills for points is to be patient and herd the zombies until they’re all bunched together. Now, use your main weapon and aim for their heads to pop them.

Power-Ups spawn on a random chance in Black Ops 7 Zombies, meaning you have to kill zombies and hope one of these drops. The Power-Up you specifically want to look out for is Double Points, marked as an “x2” symbol. Double Points will allow you to collect double Essence for a limited time, so you’re going to want to be smart about when to use them. If it’s near the end of the round, kill the zombies and grab Double Points before it starts to hectically flash, which indicates it’s about to despawn. However, if you’re in the thick of it, grab Double Points, get headshots, and enjoy the spoils. Double Points can also be forcefully placed into your hands with Who’s Keeping Score?, an Epic GobbleGum that provides you with an instant Double Points Power-Up. Alongside Double-Points, the Extra Points Power-Up will give you an instant 500 Essence, which also doubles if Double Points is active.

Complete T.E.D.D. Tasks With the Best Score

A unique and challenging way to get Essence fast is by waiting until Round 9, as the T.E.D.D. Tasks will begin. These are identical to the S.A.M. Trials of Black Ops 6, where the T.E.D.D. Tasks Machine will spawn randomly on the map. Follow your minimap to locate it, and trade 500 Essence to begin, which will see you take on a random challenge that could be anything from getting critical kills to killing zombies while crouched. The higher the number of successful kills, the better the rarity of your rewards. Once completed, T.E.D.D. Tasks will teleport away and leave a golden crate, which is filled with not only a potential random Perk, but a few Essences for you to collect, which could be a few hundred or a thousand. These T.E.D.D. Tasks are also repeatable every 4-5 rounds.
