PS Plus is Giving Away 5 Free Games for December 2025

By newsgame

PlayStation Plus subscribers have five games to look forward to in December 2025 instead of the usual three. The monthly free PlayStation Plus games are available to subscribers across all three tiers, and they are free to keep forever as long as one stays signed up for the service. The catch is that they must be claimed within a certain window.

Typically, free PS Plus games are available for a month at a time. The current free PS Plus games are Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, which will be up for grabs through December 1. For the uninitiated, Stray is a gorgeous sci-fi game that has players navigating a futuristic world as a cat. EA Sports WRC 24 is a racing game, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator has players putting together goofy battles with hilarious physics. EA Sports WRC 24 will have limited appeal depending on if you are a racing game fan or not, but Stray is an award-winning game and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator has “overwhelmingly positive” reviews on Steam, so they are more surefire bets.

Every Monthly Game Added To PS Plus

New monthly PlayStation Plus games! Sony is always adding new goodies to its subscription service across all three tiers. Here are ALL of them.

PS Plus subscribers are running out of time to claim Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator, because on December 2, they will be cycled out and replaced by next month’s free games. As a nice surprise, PS Plus subscribers have five free games to look forward to in December 2025, with the lineup featuring Killing Floor 3, LEGO Horizon Adventures, Neon White, Synduality: Echo of Ada, and The Outlast Trials.

Free PS Plus Games for December 2025

  • Killing Floor 3 (PS5)
  • LEGO Horizon Adventures (PS5)
  • Neon White (PS4/PS5)
  • Synduality: Echo of Ada (PS5)
  • The Outlast Trials (PS4/PS5)

For those unfamiliar with the games, Killing Floor 3 is a co-op FPS where players mow down hordes of monsters. LEGO Horizon Adventures, meanwhile, is a kid-friendly retelling of the Horizon Zero Dawn story. It embraces a LEGO aesthetic and features simplified gameplay, and like most other LEGO video games, also features co-op support.

Neon White is an intriguing FPS with a unique gimmick where players have a limited number of cards to use to kill enemies and make their way through the levels. It earned mostly positive reviews for its sleek art style and engaging gameplay hook. Synduality: Echo of Ada, meanwhile, is something very different, as it is a PvPvE extraction shooter published by Bandai Namco. Extraction shooters are all the rage nowadays, and PS Plus subscribers can now see what all the fuss is about.

Finally, The Outlast Trials is a survival-horror co-op game where players attempt to make their way through the titular trials, all the while being terrorized by all kinds of unseemly horrors. From The Outlast Trials to Killing Floor 3, most of the free PS Plus games for December 2025 offer multiplayer of some kind, so subscribers looking for something new to play with their friends have a lot to look forward to next month.

PS4 PS Plus Focus is Nearly at an End

All the games are available to PS5 gamers, with Killing Floor 3, LEGO Horizon Adventures, and Synduality: Echo of Ada exclusive to those on PS5. Unfortunately, PS4 gamers will soon have even less to look forward to when it comes to PlayStation Plus. It was previously confirmed that PS Plus will stop focusing on PS4 support starting January 2026. That doesn’t mean there will never be free PS Plus games for PS4 gamers to claim in the months ahead, but the focus will definitely be on PS5.
