Xbox Game Pass Adds 2 Games to Close Out November 2025
November 25 marks another exciting day for Xbox Game Pass subscribers of the Ultimate, PC, and Premium tiers, as Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden and Kill It With Fire! 2 have been added to Microsoft’s gaming service. Though recent price hikes have some gamers questioning the value of an Xbox Game Pass subscription, others see the frequently updated game library as an indispensable element of their hobby.
The subscription service also regularly removes titles from the library, however, and Xbox Game Pass will be losing some incredible RPGs on November 30: the 2023 release of Lords of the Fallen and Octopath Traveler 1 and 2. Also leaving the service are Barbie Project Friendship, an adventure game released in 2024 that offers a variety of activities like minigames, puzzles, and costume unlocks. 2023’s SteamWorld Build, a city builder and dungeon management game set in the well-known SteamWorld universe, will also be removed from Xbox Game Pass on November 30.
The Best Games On Xbox Game Pass (November 2025)
Xbox Game Pass is unquestionably worth the subscription fee, but which of the available games are the best use of your hard drive space?
Xbox Game Pass Adds 2 More Titles for Subscribers
On November 25, the last two confirmed games of the month were added to Xbox Game Pass. The first, Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, was developed by Don’t Nod of Life is Strange and Vampyr fame and was released in early 2024. The action RPG takes place in the titular settlement, where a mysterious curse is plaguing the inhabitants. Protagonists Red and Antea are banishers, spirit hunters who set out to deal with the problem. Banishers: Ghost of New Eden on Xbox currently has a 4.5-star rating out of more than 750 reviews, and those who decide they’d like to own the role-playing game can currently purchase it at a 60 percent discount.
The second game that joined the Xbox Game Pass lineup on November 25 is Kill It With Fire! 2, a marked divergence from the more serious tone of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Released in April 2024 by developer Casey Donnellan Games, Kill It With Fire! 2 might not be a first choice for arachnophobes but will definitely appeal to gamers who enjoy zany, good-natured fun. Spiders have somehow spread across the multiverse, and it’s up to the player — along with three friends via online co-op if desired — to take them out. Using any weapon near to hand or advanced technology, players will travel across the multiverse, visiting new worlds and civilizations in their quest to obliterate the arachnids.

November has been a good month for members of Microsoft’s gaming service. Subscribers got titles of a range of genres like Moonlighter 2, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, Revenge of the Savage Planet, and Sniper Elite: Resistance. Most recently, Xbox Game Pass added Monsters are Coming! Rock & Road, a tower-survivor action roguelite developed by Ludogram and published by Raw Fury, as well as The Crew Motorfest.
During the recent Xbox Partner Preview, Xbox also revealed nine more games that will be coming to Game Pass Ultimate in 2026. These include Vampire Crawlers, a turn-based first-person deckbuilding roguelike from the developers of 2022’s award-winning Vampire Survivors. And Reanimal by Tarsier Studios will scratch the survival horror itch for many gamers, with a bit of stealth and platforming tossed in for good measure. Armatus, from the developer of Godfall, will take players to a demon-infested Paris. And, of course, Tides of Annihilation by Eclipse Glow Games has fans of Devil May Cry, Stellar Blade, Bayonetta, and Elden Ring looking forward to more news about its upcoming release.
