Amphitheatre Building Guide In Anno 117 Pax Romana
One of the core gameplay elements in Anno 117: Pax Romana is to fulfill the residents’ needs until you can unlock the next population tier. For instance, the Liberti must be satisfied in terms of Food, Fashion, and Public Service before players can upgrade them to Plebeians.
After a few hours of looping, governors should eventually unlock the Patricians. This workforce is the most demanding and comes with luxury items for their needs. However, their presence also unlocks the Amphitheater. Here’s a full overview of how to build the Amphitheater in Anno 117: Pax Romana.
How To Increase City Status In Anno 117 Pax Romana
City Status in Anno 117: Pax Romana can unlock new features for the player’s city, but most importantly affect the city’s attribute.
Amphitheater In Anno 117 Pax Romana
To unlock the Amphitheater in Anno 117: Pax Romana, players must first unlock the Patricians in Latium, which is the final population tier in Anno 117: Pax Romana.
Afterward, governors must:
- Build the Amphitheater foundation.
- Complete construction phase 2, 3, and 4.
The details of the Amphitheater construction will be explained in the next section.
Once the Amphitheater is fully completed, players can host games there. After the game finishes, the island will get various buffs.
Even without an ongoing event, the Amphitheater still provides attribute boost in Anno 117: Pax Romana, which is +3 Population, +3 Happiness, and +7 Prestige for the entire island. It doesn’t have an area of effect like normal buildings.
Each game will require different resources, with bigger games needing more materials. If governors fail to provide the required goods, the duration of the buffs will shorten.
The listed items are random, so you can cancel the preparation and redo the event until you get the materials you can provide.
Of course, the bonus effect players get from the Amphitheater events will scale with the game’s size. The bigger the event, the better the buff.
How To Build The Amphitheater In Anno 117 Pax Romana
As a late-game building, constructing the Amphitheater is no easy feat. First, players must build the foundation by spending:
- 100 Timber
- 60 Concrete
- 75,000 Denarii
Next, governors will build the Amphitheater in three phases. Each one requires a massive number of materials, so it’s best to place warehouses near the construction site, allowing the workers to deliver the items faster. You don’t need to have all the materials beforehand, as they will be delivered slowly to the building.
Phase two of the Amphitheater building is also for its foundation. The following resources are needed:
- 150 Timber
- 300 Concrete
- 150 Rope
- 350 Liberti Workforce
To begin the outer wall construction, players must first have at least 750 Patricians on the island. Afterward, make sure you can produce these for the Amphitheater:
- 150 Concrete
- 300 Tile
- 300 Marble
- 150 Rope
- 200 Plebeian
For the final phase, the arena demands these things:
- 300 Tile
- 300 Marble
- 300 Mosaic
- 300 Concrete
- 60 Gold
- 150 Eques
At least 2250 Patricians must live in the city for the final construction phase to begin.
Once everything is done, the Amphitheater will finally be completed in Anno 117: Pax Romana.
