Best Build for Archer in Ghost of Yotei Legends
The Archer starts with a bow, but increasing the class rank unlocks additional ranged weapon slots, allowing you to equip options like Hankyu or Concussion Bombs. Archer’s class abilities are quite different, with one focusing on increased damage and faster draw speed, while the other provides an incendiary shot that explodes in a large area on impact.
Choosing the right class ability depends on the mode you are playing. For Story or Survival, where you are not constantly dealing with large groups, Empowered Hunt is the better option as it boosts your damage and lets you pick off enemies quickly. For Incursions and Raids, where enemies spawn in large numbers, Shadow Flame Arrow is far more effective since you can group enemies together and deal heavy area damage.
Empowered Hunt has excellent synergy with the Storm Hankyu. This bow removes the need to aim while drawing and allows you to fire rapidly. With the ability active, most shots will one-shot weaker enemies while heavily damaging stronger ones. There is also a chance to not consume arrows during the ability, allowing you to keep firing for an extended period without worrying about ammo.
For perks, Resupply is a must-have since ammo pickups are not always available, especially in longer encounters. Being able to restore ammunition using Spirit ensures you can keep dealing damage consistently. Ability Cooldown is also a strong choice for the Perk 1 slot, letting you use your class ability more frequently.
The Archer’s ultimate, Eye of Uchitsune, is another key part of the build. Since you will be landing frequent headshots and securing kills, your ultimate will recharge quickly. All Ultimate perks are useful for handling groups of enemies, but for Incursions and Survival, Bountiful Ammo is especially valuable as it restores 65% of your ammo, removing the need to constantly search for arrows during fights.
