Where Winds Meet: Hexi Region Sandy Meow Puzzles Guide

The Sandy Meow (or Meow Meow) exploration puzzles are a unique set of challenges that can only be discovered in the open world, and they do require an inquisitive mind and puzzle-solving tricks.

Each region features these challenges for Wanderers to complete once you’ve spotted them, and it appears they’ve brought that same magic to Hexi, so here is where to find all the puzzles and tips to solving them in Where Winds Meet.

All Hexi Sandy Meow Puzzle Locations and Solutions in Where Winds Meet

The requirements needed are to unlock the Hexi region and speak to the Wayfarer near the Karez Boundary Stone to unlock the world map. Additionally, activating all Boundary Stones scattered across the desert will make fast travel much more efficient, as you’ll be spending plenty of time traversing across Hexi to find this magical cat and solve the puzzles.

There are 11 total Sandy (Meow) Meow puzzles, which are categorized into three types of puzzles to discover in Hexi, namely Ring the Bell to Pray, Sandskiing Challenge, and Will-o’-Wisps. Each challenge type will demand that you complete the objectives within a time limit or solve them in their correct order to finish the challenge and claim the corresponding rewards.

After completing all the Sandy Meow puzzles and challenges in the Hexi region, you will unlock the “Hexi: Paws on Point” achievement and must track down the location of the Sandy Meow Temple. Travel to the Poplar Bazaar Boundary Stone and head west from here, where you can spot Sandy Meow inside a cave and exchanging Sandypaw Ingots for items available from its shop.
