Fortnite Festival Reveals New K-Pop Crossover
Fortnite Festival has officially unveiled the newest crossover for the rhythm game with a popular K-Pop artist, with Blackpink’s Lisa headling the upcoming Season 12 update. The rhythm game spinoff of the beloved battle royale has become a smash hit since its release, echoing the glory days of rhythm games like Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Epic Games has brought a variety of artists and genres to the Fortnite rhythm game, with everything from Daft Punk and Eminem to the recent addition of the main theme from The Simpsons. Now, a beloved K-Pop artist is coming to Fortnite.
Fortnite has seen multiple artists highlight the different “seasons” for its rhythm game spinoff, with Fortnite Festival putting beloved musicians in the spotlight. 2025 has seen beloved artists like Sabrina Carpenter, Bruno Mars, and The Gorillaz highlighted as featured artists for different seasons of the game. Fortnite Festival even offered fans a full season devoted to Japanese virtual pop idol Hatsune Miku earlier in the year, coinciding with a larger collaboration with the battle royale. The newest season is now putting a fan-favorite Korean group in the spotlight.

Fortnite Festival Adding Blackpink’s Lisa
Fortnite Festival officially revealed the featured artist for the rhythm game’s Season 12, with a member of one of South Korea’s most popular musical acts headlining the season. Fortnite Festival will star Blackpink’s Lisa as the featured artist for the rhythm game’s newest season, likely featuring new music from Lisa and Blackpink added to the game. Lisa’s inclusion will also feature a new skin and other cosmetics based on Lisa, both within Fortnite Festival and in the main battle royale. Fortnite Festival‘s Season 12 is scheduled to officially begin on November 29.
Lisa’s release in Fortnite Festival will coincide with the launch of the next major competitive season for the battle royale, kicking off Chapter 7. Leaks from Fortnite have hinted at a plethora of content expected to arrive in Chapter 7, including “reboot vans” for respawning teammates on the fly and new vehicles like hot air balloons. Some of the crossovers coming with Chapter 7 have also been teased, with popular film franchises Kill Bill and Back to the Future both receiving their first Fortnite crossovers during the new season.
While fans look ahead to the new seasons for Fortnite and Fortnite Festival, Epic Games will wrap up Chapter 6 with a bang. Fortnite will launch its “Zero Hour” event to conclude Chapter 6 on the same day as Chapter 7’s scheduled release, teased to bring together several popular Chapter 6 crossovers like Godzilla, Star Wars, and The Simpsons. Epic Games also launched “No Sweat Weekend” for the battle royale, featuring reduced lobby sizes and increased XP for players. Fortnite fans should have lots to be excited about from the battle royale throughout the coming weeks.
