Pokémon Pokopia Stamp Rally and Rarity Guide

By newsgame

You’ll be able to start making money from the Pokopia Stamp Rally as soon as you can access a Pokémon Center PC in the game. It only takes a few seconds every day, so it’s well worth doing. If you play the game and collect a stamp on at least five different days across the week, you’ll fill out your stamp card. But there’s more you can do to maximize your Life Coin returns, so here’s how to do just that.

How to Increase Your Inventory in Pokemon Pokopia

There are plenty of items to collect in Pokemon Pokopia, so players should make sure they upgrade their inventory as soon as they can.

All you need to do to start boosting your Life Coins is log in as many days as you can each week. You’ll need a PC to do this, but this is unlocked in the first hour of the game. You don’t, however, need to have rebuilt the Pokémon Center in Withered Wasteland to interact with this mechanic, which you’ll do to progress the main story in the first area.

Each day you log in, once you boot up a Pokémon Center PC, you’ll be prompted to add a stamp to your weekly collection before you do anything else. You can still check in on your existing stamps after this point by heading to the ‘Stamp Rally’ meny on your PC. Your stamp book has five slots, so playing Pokopia on five different days of the week will be enough to fill it up, so long as you interact with an in-game PC.

You’ll get 1,500 Life Coins each week for completely filling your stamp book each week, excluding the value of each individual stamp. You can collect this when the week starts again on Fridays, but you don’t need to specifically play on Friday to get your reward: your rewards will carry over for collection to the next day you play the game.

However, not all stamps are equal in Pokopia. Because some stamps are rarer than others, you have the option to replace the stamps you already have with rarer ones, if you claim them on the two other days of the week available. In other words, if you log in every day, that’s your five stamp slots filled, plus two more chances to get more stamps. Then, you can swap the new stamps if they’re rarer.

You can’t have any more than five stamps in the same week, however, and the stamp rarity you get is entirely random each day. Naturally, the rarer the card, the more Life Coins you get each Friday.

Here are the four stamp rarities, what they look like, and how many bonus Life Coins they give you:

Rarity

Stamp Appearance

Life Coins

Common

Circular border

50

Uncommon

Star-shaped border

100

Rare

Shiny, flower-shaped border

200

Ultra-rare

Shiny, special border

1000

So, there are a couple of ways to maximize your Life Coin returns from the Stamp Rally system. Of course, you can ensure you log in every day; it only takes a few seconds to boot up the game and grab your stamp, so be sure to do this if you want the most Life Coins possible, but don’t have time for a full-fat game session.

While it is possible to change your Switch 2’s system clock to skip time, this isn’t really worth the risk of your game breaking just on the off chance you get more coins. There are other ways to make money in the game, chiefly by completing regular and daily challenges listed on your PC.

The other way is to get extra stamps by visiting your friend’s islands or by playing on a shared Cloud Island together. Now, you’ll need to be playing multiplayer in Pokopia for this, so you’ll need a Nintendo Switch Online subscription for this to be an option for you.

Then, with your stamps and Life Coins acquired, you can put this extra money towards more purchases in the PC shop. Here, you can buy materials, decorations for your home, and recipes. You can expand your options of things to buy by increasing your area’s Environment Level, which you can do by attracting more Pokémon to your zone by constructing Pokopia habitats, and ensuring the Pokémon that live there are comfortable.
