How to Make the Professor’s Apprentice Program Habitat for Metang

After completing the third floor of the super-tall Sparkling Skylands building with the help of Tinkmaster and the gang, the next thing you’ll need to do is recruit Peakychu from Bleak Beach and also gather Paper by using a Pokopia Pokemon with the Recycle Specialty. Tinkmaster recommends creating a Habitat for Metang, the Steel/Psychic Iron Claw Pokemon.

You can give Metang wastepaper (which is found all around Sparkling Skylands), and it’ll convert it into regular paper. Before Metang shows up in the Skylands, however, you’ll need to create the Professor’s Apprentice Program habitat, which requires a laptop, a table, jumbled cords, and a whiteboard. We’ll show you how to quickly put it all together without having to craft or spend money to purchase new items in Pokopia.

Find a Laptop

The four items that you’ll need to create the Professor’s Apprentice Program habitat are a whiteboard, a table (any), jumbled cords, and a laptop. Luckily, you can find all of these items inside the tall Skylands tower that you’re currently constructing.

The first thing you should do is walk into the first floor of the building and head to the back to find a lone laptop on a counter. Go ahead and take it and place it into your inventory.

Next, use the elevator in the same room to enter the second floor of the building. The renovations to the floor should be completed by now.

Head to the front of the floor to find a room with a bunch of equipment, including a crafting table and a storage box. You’ll also find two metal desks against a wall with some jumbled cords on top.

Go ahead and take the cords and one of the tables and place them near the whiteboard by the storage chest. You might need to use Rock Smash to get rid of the pipes and cardboard boxesfirst to make space.

Once the habitat is successfully created, Metang might not appear immediately. To speed up the process, you can do what I did and go into the Switch’s system settings to advance the clock. The game will bring you to your closest home after you time-travel, so just head back to the tower’s second floor, and there’s a high chance that Metang will be hanging out by the habitat.

Now, you can speak to Metang and give them any wastepaper you may have, and they’ll start using their Recycle Speciality to transform it into Paper to help with the construction of the last floor of the Skylands tower.

If you choose to create the habitat in a different biome, Metang will still show up. As a matter of fact, you can summon them in all five areas.
