How to Open the Purple Cyst in Paradox Junction
Once you’ve created the Blundergat in Paradox Junction, you will be able to find a purple Loot Cyst in Green House Backyard in Destroyed Nuketown. This cyst isn’t popped like normal, which requires zombie kills. Instead, you’ll need to locate multiple items and ingredients.
There are 7 ingredients to find, and you’ll only need 4 to feed the Loot Cyst in order to spawn an HVT Enemy. While a beefy foe to fight, the reward is worth it, as you can get a free Tier 3 Pack-a-Punch Crystal! Here’s a full guide on how to pop this Purple Cyst for its loot.

All Ingredients in Destroyed Nuketown in Paradox Junction
The Skull Location
- You will need to find the ARC-XD Remote Control in one of three locations (for which we have a guide here).
- Once found, use the ARC-XD to blow up the garage on Trinity Avenue.
- Inside the now unlocked garage, you can find a head sitting on a barrel that can be picked up.
The Organs Location
- In Trinity Avenue, you can find a truck opposite Pack-a-Punch.
- Go prone on the right side of the truck, and you can find a pile of guts to be collected.
The Bone Location
- In the Green House Backyard, head to the garden fenced area.
- Behind the Perk Machine, you can find a bone in the dirt that needs to be picked up.
All Ingredients in Clean Nuketown in Paradox Junction
The Battery Location
- Inside the Truck Interior in the Cul-De-Sac.
- You can find a battery on the floor opposite the Blundergat workbench.
The Bucket Location
- Inside the Yellow House Garage.
- You can find the Bucket in the corner by the door that leads to the Yellow House Backyard.
The Dog Collar Location
- To the left of Pack-a-Punch in Trinity Avenue.
- You can find a house with a front garden.
- In the patch of dirt on the left, there is a Dog Collar among some plants.
The Meat Location
- Inside the Green House.
- Head to the kitchen, where, by the mannequin, you can find a big slab of meat.
You can now provide all 7 ingredients to the Purple Cyst in Destroyed Nuketown for a unique reward. Be warned, this spawns 4 HVTs at once, so bring Score Streaks and an Upgraded Blundergat!
How to Get a Free Tier 3 Pack-a-Punch Crystal in Paradox Junction
Once you’ve obtained all 7 ingredients, you can feed them to the Purple Loot Cyst found in the Green House Backyard. Interact with the items once they’re on the wooden palette to begin the challenge.
A great deal of purple-eyed zombies will spawn, and you will need to kill them to feed the Purple Loot Cyst. After enough souls have been fed to the Cyst, the purple-eyed zombies will stop spawning, and the following enemies will spawn:
- HVT Rad-Hound
- HVT Doppelghast
- HVT Shock Mimic
- HVT Heavy Armored Zombie
The easiest way to kill these HVTs is through Score Streaks, like the War Machine, so make sure you come prepared and bring plenty of Salvage for the Crafting Table. We used Stamin-Up and a Pack-a-Punch Blundergat too, as this allowed us to stay on the move and deal heavy damage.
Once defeated, the Purple Loot Cyst will reward you with a Tier 3 Pack-a-Punch Crystal, which can really save you time and Essence when hunting those Relics or easter eggs.
