How to Hide Headgear in Monster Hunter Stories 3

By newsgame

Monster Hunter Stories 3 is filled with a variety of armor sets that players can craft and wear on their adventures. However, since armor comes in complete sets, your favorite armor sets may use headgear that covers up your character’s face and hair.

Luckily, there is an option that allows players to hide their headgear in Monster Hunter Stories 3 so that you can show off your character’s appearance regardless of the armor set you’ve chosen. In this guide, we’ll show you where to find the Display Headgear option and how to use it.

To remove the headgear from your character, players must enter the in-game menu and select the Party tab. In this menu, choose the Change Equipment option that appears beneath your character. This will take you to a new screen showing all of your character’s stats and current equipment.

The bottom left corner of this screen is home to a Display Headgear option. Immediately to the right of this option, players will see what button they can press to change how their headgear is displayed. PC players can press the R key or left-click on Display Headgear to change their headgear option.

Players can choose from three different Display Headgear options, which include the following:

  • On
  • Off
  • Off during cutscenes.

Selecting on means that your character will always wear their helmet. In contrast, off ensures that your headgear will never be shown, while off during cutscenes will have your character wearing the helmet whenever you are not in a cutscene.

Selecting the off during cutscenes option for Display Headgear will not remove the headgear during battle cutscenes.
