Some fish spawn exclusively during Rainbow events in Heartopia. Here’s a list of all the Rainbow fish and where to find them.
Where to Find Bizarre Mushrooms in Heartopia
Bizarre Mushrooms are unusual versions of the regular mushrooms found across the world of Heartopia. They appear under the same environmental conditions and usually in the same locations as the common mushrooms they resemble.
Because of this, the easiest way to find them is to learn about the normal mushroom spawn areas and check those locations frequently. The difference is immediately noticeable because Bizarre Mushrooms have unnaturally bright and vibrant colors that make them stand out from their normal counterparts.

Oyster Mushrooms grow around Onsen Mountain Lake and are easy to spot thanks to their wide grey caps that appear near rocky edges and water. Their Bizarre versions can appear in bright Yellow, Pink, or Purple.
Penny Buns grow throughout the forest regions and have the classic rounded brown mushroom cap. Their Bizarre forms include Red, Purple, and a unique Pink and Yellow gradient color pattern. They usually spawn in the exact same spot each time, so you can revisit while searching for other variants.
Shiitake mushrooms appear around the Fishing Village Square, usually near trees, signposts, and walls. Their normal versions have pale beige caps, while the Bizarre variations can appear in Red, Purplish Grey, or Blue.
Button Mushrooms grow in the Windmill Flower Field. These mushrooms are small and tend to hide in tall grass or near fences and rocks. Their Bizarre versions come in Pink, Blue, and Green, though they can be difficult to spot due to their size.
Finding all twelve variants of the Bizarre Mushrooms can take some time since they spawn randomly in the same locations as the regular mushroom species they mimic. Not every mushroom in the game has a Bizarre version. Some species remain rare collectibles on their own, like Matsutake mushrooms and Black Truffles.
What to Do With Bizarre Mushrooms in Heartopia
At the time of writing, Bizarre Mushrooms don’t have a functional gameplay use in Heartopia. You can’t cook them, eat them, or use them as ingredients for crafting recipes. In fact, the game actually prevents you from consuming them, so there’s no risk of accidentally using them the wrong way.
Bizarre Mushrooms are mainly collectible items. You can use them as decorative items in your home. Their unusual colors make them stand out compared to normal mushrooms, which makes them surprisingly fun to place around your house, garden areas, or display tables if you enjoy decorating your space.
Since Heartopia receives regular updates, there’s always a chance these items could get new uses in the future. So, it’s worth holding onto any Bizarre Mushrooms you find rather than discarding or selling them to Albert Jr.
