All the Ways to Raise Comfort Level in Pokopia
Raising the Comfort Level of your Pokemon in Pokemon Pokopia is an important task to get stuck into, as the higher their Comfort Levels are, the higher an area’s Environment Level is. This gives you more challenges, and items to buy at the PC, so it’s a good idea to at least fulfil the easy requests of your Pokemon while working your way through the main story of Pokemon Pokopia.
While doing things like completing personal requests, playing a game with Pokemon, and giving them a home can increase the Comfort Level of most Pokemon, there are specific things you need to do in order to get them to the highest “Awesome” level of comfort. This guide explains how to do just that below.
How to Search for a Pokemon in Pokopia
Pokopia players can use the Search function to find the location of their lost Pokemon, which can come in handy if they need to make use of its skill.
Pokopia Comfort Level, Explained
A Pokemon’s Comfort Level reflects how happy they are with their current habitat in Pokopia, and the happier your Pokemon are, the higher an area’s Environment Level is. Increasing the Environment Level of each level is important, as it unlocks more challenges, and items to buy at the PC shop. Raising the Environment Level is also an Important Request in every area, so you’ll have to tackle your buddies’ needs at some point.
Once a Pokemon has a habitat/home, they will be assigned one of five levels of Comfort in Pokopia:
- Iffy
- Average
- Nice
- Great
- Awesome
You should be aiming to have all Pokemon in the “Awesome” Comfort Level, but getting all Pokemon to “Great” is a quick and easy way to significantly increase the Environment Level of an area.
You can quickly check the Comfort Level of all Pokemon in an area by looking at the Environment Level from a PC.
To see what you should be doing to increase a Pokemon’s Comfort Level, you can either ask them directly what they want, or check out the Specialties & Likes tab of their Pokedex entry. Looking at this tab is an especially good idea when the option to ask a Pokemon what they like disappears.
How to Raise Comfort Level in Pokopia
There are seven ways to increase the general Comfort Level of Pokemon in Pokopia:
- Talk to them every day
- Move them into a proper house
- Add decorations and furniture to their habitat/house
- Complete their requests
- Give them a gift
- Play a game with them
- Make sure the path from a habitat to the Pokemon Center is accessible
A Pokemon won’t move into a house if you place any items they don’t like inside. To see what items they do like, bring up the main menu and check out a Pokemon’s Specialties & Likes in the Pokedex.
Additionally, there are specific things that each Pokemon needs, and their Comfort Level might not go any higher without you fulfilling these preferences, such as making the habitat darker in Pokopia, or placing a toy in their habitat.
