Leftovers Location in FireRed & LeafGreen with Itemfinder

By newsgame

After dozens of hours roaming around Kanto, players might have already figured out that the Leftovers, one of the most important Held items in the game, are nowhere to be found. But those who have already played Pokemon FireRed & LeafGreen might already know the secret hiding spot of this item.

In this guide, we will tell you how to use the Itemfinder to spot special hidden items such as the Leftovers, and the exact spots where you can pick not one, but two of these items.

An old glitch from the original Pokemon FireRed and LeafGreen games still works in the Nintendo Switch versions.

Leftovers Location in Pokemon FireRed & LeafGreen

Leftovers is a popular Held item that allows Pokemon to heal a bit every turn during battle, and to find it in Pokemon FireRed & Leaf Green, players must acquire the Itemfinded, which is located east of Vermilion City in the Gate Building.

Talk to Prof. Oak’s Assistant on the second floor, who will give players the Itemfinder if they have caught or evolved 30 different species of Pokemon. Now, the Leftovers is actually quite close by; if players have already completed the Celadon City Game Corner Basement battle and ousted Team Rocket from the Top of the Pokemon Tower, they will already have the Poke Flute with them.

If not, then follow the steps indicated here to Wake Up Snorlax and then use the Itemfinder in the exact same spot where Snorlax was sleeping on Route 12 to find the Leftovers. As shown in the videos below, it can also be done on Route 16, west of Celadon to acquire yet another Leftovers.

This item is perfect for Snorlax, which is a fairly tanky Pokemon, and one of the best team members you could ask for to beat the Elite Four in the Pokemon League. Just give it the Leftovers and watch how it unleashes absolute hell upon your enemies. Snorlax with Rollout, Rest, Snore, and Block is an absolute menace. More so if it can recover health even while attacking with Rollout.
