To find Pikachu in Pokemon Pokopia, you’ll need to create the Picnic Set habitat, although there’s a little more to it than that. In all but one of the game’s areas, Pichu is the only Pokemon that shows up at picnic sets. However, if you build the habitat in Palette Town, everybody’s favorite Electric-type will make an appearance.
How to Get Pikachu in Pokemon Pokopia (Pikachu Location)
As mentioned above, players will need to make the Picnic Set habitat to get Pikachu, which requires two seats, a table, and a picnic basket. The seats and the table can be crafted right from the get-go, but to get the picnic basket crafting recipe, you’ll need to complete Hitmonchan’s rock smash tutorial. To actually craft it, you’ll need a sturdy stick and a vine rope, both of which can be found lying around on the ground.
Next, you’ll need to make your way over to Palette Town, which can be accessed via the Withered Wasteland area. You’ll get a notification about it after unlocking the Surf transformation in Bleak Beach, but you can build a bridge over to the pathway that leads there before then if you really want to. Once there, set up the Picnic Set habitat as shown in the image above and then wait for Pikachu to show up.
You’ll also meet a Pikachu in Bleak Beach as part of the main story.
