Here is how you can catch the Pink Katydid, a rare pink insect in Heartopia.
Where to Find the Crimson Marsh Glider in Heartopia
The Crimson Marsh Glider can only be caught during the Bait the Insects event. If the event isn’t active, the insect simply will not spawn. To find the Crimson Marsh Glider, you have to at least Insect Catching Level 7.
If you aren’t at Level 7 yet, you’ll have to spend time leveling up your Insect Catching hobby before trying to find the Crimson Marsh Glider.
Once both conditions are met, the Crimson Marsh Glider will spawn. It’s available at all times of the day during Rainbows. You can easily spot the Crimson Marsh Glider by its deep red color, but it can still be easy to miss if you’re moving too fast. Take your time and scan the area carefully for this insect.
How to Catch the Crimson Marsh Glider
As with most insects, quick movements will cause the Crimson Marsh Glider to flee almost immediately. Charging in and spamming bubbles is the fastest way to lose it.
Instead, use a charged bubble capture. Equip your Insect Net and hold down the bubble input to enter stealth mode. Then, slowly walk toward the Crimson Marsh Glider and let the bubble fully charge. Release when you’re in range.
Upgrading your Insect Catching is extremely helpful here, as it increases your capture range and lets you grab the insect from farther away. If you have access to tools like the Inflatable Insect Attractor or Sense Booster from Naniwa, use them to make spotting and catching this bug much easier.
Once caught, the Crimson Marsh Glider will be added to your collection. You can sell it to Albert Jr. for Gold or display it in a Vivarium at home as a trophy.
