Resident Evil Village: All Crafting Recipes
Resident Evil Village features 11 crafting recipes that will help you through your survival horror journey. Here’s how to craft them all.
Castle Dimitrescu
You will be forever locked out of Castle Dimitrescu if you pick up the Dagger of Death’s Flowers from the coffin after completing the Hall of the Four Puzzle. While you should proceed through Castle Dimitrescu and collect the 4 Angel Masks, entering through the doors and picking up the dagger will trigger a boss fight, and you will never be able to go back to the Castle.
Castle Dimitrescu is a great area to explore, filled with all sorts of loot worth carrying. Therefore, you should collect the masks and complete the puzzle, but never pick up the Dagger of Death’s Flowers until you are ready. If you open the coffin, you can despawn Lady Dimitrescu, which is great for exploration, so keep that in mind for your playthrough.
House Beneviento
After escaping the terrifying giant baby in the Doll Workshop, you will have a deadly hide-and-seek encounter with Angie. Once Angie has been defeated, and when you’ve grabbed the flask, the door to the exit will open. However, if you leave House Beneviento, you will never be able to come back.
This isn’t a big deal, as there’s really nothing in House Beneviento that’s worth sticking around for. That is, unless you like the comfort of the creepy dolls. Before leaving, make sure to grab Angie off of the floor, as she’s a valuable item that can be sold to Duke.
Moreau’s Reservoir
Moreau’s Reservoir is an outlier, as while players can explore most areas as much as they’d like before moving on, Moreau’s Reservoir is an area where there is limited time for some items. This comes from the fact that there are some areas where you’re chased by a giant lake monster, and parts become inaccessible shortly after and during.
Moreau’s Reservoir really changes once you complete the Sluice Gate Puzzle, as the water level drains and allows you to access new areas. However, there is a missable Goat of Warding and File in this area, so try not to speed through it too quickly, as using the elevator to return to the surface may see you forever locked out.
The Village
After you have completed the Stronghold section of the game, it’s vital that you do everything you need to in the Village. This will be your last time in the Village, so any collectibles that you’re missing in this large area, now is the time to do it, or you’re going to have to wait for NG+ or reload an old save.
There’s a lot to do in the Village, from an assortment of meats to collect, Goats of Warding to shoot, treasures to hunt, and Files to read. Just make sure you do it all before or after the Stronghold, as embarking to Heisenberg’s Factory will permanently lock you out of the Village.
Heisenberg’s Factory
Heisenberg’s Factory is an expansive labyrinth, filled with loot and collectibles worth finding. However, Heisenberg’s Factory will be inaccessible once you proceed to the Control Room after defeating Sturm in B1. As such, you should make sure to avoid B1 with the Heisenberg Key and instead, use it on the lower levels for loot.
Only when you’re ready to proceed and never return to Heisenberg’s Factory, should you use the Heisenberg Key in B1 and fight Sturm to proceed. Remember, this is the final point of no return, so anything you have left to do, now is the time to do it before the beginning of the end.
