How to Get Beneviento’s Treasure

By newsgame

Upon entering the Garden after your second visit to the Village, you’ll notice that in the center lies Beneviento’s Treasure. Unfortunately for you, Resident Evil Village locks Beneviento’s treasure until after you enter and complete House Beneviento, which remains on the linear path ahead.

Only after you exit House Beneviento, scarred with what you witnessed inside, will you be able to obtain this treasure. Below, we’ve listed how you can open Beneviento’s treasure, along with what’s inside, to let you know if it’s worth the amount of bullets and backtracking that awaits.

The Foyer area in Resident Evil Village can be frustrating when going for full exploration, so this guide shows where the secrets are.

How to Get Beneviento’s Treasure in Resident Evil Village

After you have exited Hosue Beneviento, you will want to return to the Graveyard in the Village. In the eastern area of the Graveyard, you will find new enemies guarding an open crypt. If you walk inside the crypt, you will find the Broken Slab buried in the snow. Now, it’s time to return through Potter’s Field and the Suspension Bridge to reach the Garden.

The next part is going to include a miniboss, so make sure you purchase plenty of ammo and pipe bombs from Duke at the Altar!

Once you return to the Garden with the central gravestone, a giant wielding an axe will guard Beneviento’s treasure. The Giant has easy-to-avoid attacks, as he’s very slow, so just move around the graveyard in a circle and keep your distance, but remember to watch for his jumping swing!

Pipe bombs and shotgun blasts to the head will take care of the giant, but it’s going to take plenty of resources. Once he’s dead, feel free to loot the Giant Crystal Axe, which is worth 30,000 Lei at Duke!

With the giant and his goons dealt with, head to the grave and interact with the tombstone itself to place the Broken Slab. This will reveal the name “Claudia Beneviento”, and the coffin will slide open to reveal Berengario’s Chalice. This is a valuable item that nets you 18,000 Lei with Duke.
