Complete Meat & Poultry Guide
A common concern for new players in Starsand Island is where to get all the Meat needed for cooking. The game is full of cute animals that players can interact with, pet, feed, and even raise on the farm, so no one wants to see them harmed just for a few pieces of Meat.
The good news is that acquiring Meat in Starsand Island is safe, non-violent, and easy. Players simply need to visit a specific store in the nearby town and ask an NPC for some protein-rich Meat and Poultry.
How to Buy Land in Starsand Island (Farm Expansion)
Players aiming to expand their farms in Starsand Island and acquire new terrains like lakes, beaches, and islands will find this guide highly useful.
Being a vegetarian in Starsand Island is entirely possible, thanks to the many vegetable-based recipes available. However, players may still need to buy or process Meat at certain points to complete specific missions or requests.

How to Get Meat
Players can visit Zerine’s General Store and buy Meat from the Ingredients section. At the moment, shopping is the main way to get all types of Meat, except for Meat Bites. Fortunately, butchering farm animals like Cows, Sheep, and Pigs is not part of Starsand Island.
Meat can also be found in some Treasure Chests or received as quest rewards and NPC gifts. However, these sources usually provide only small amounts and are unlikely to meet all cooking needs.

Meat Bites are nutritious byproducts from processing various types of Meat and are popular with both Starsand Town residents and animals. To get Meat Bites, players need to place pieces of Meat (Pork, Mutton, Fowl, or Beef) into a Separator. The device will process the Meat and produce a few Meat Bites within seconds.
How to Get a Separator
Players receive a Separator blueprint at Zerine’s General Store as part of the “Equipment Blueprint Pack.” They can then use their Worktable to craft it with basic materials such as Stone, Softwood, and Fiber.
How to Cook Meat
Players need to set up a Camp Fire, Oven, or Stove on their farm to cook various Meat dishes. Early-game recipes include Spicy Boiled Beef, Chicken Stewed with Mushrooms, Stir-fried Vegetables with Meat, and Soup Dumplings.
Some dishes provide temporary buffs, like Battle Spirit, which boosts attack power and can stack up to five times.
