Relationship Guide In Starsand Island
To check everyone you’ve met and your current relationship with them, you can open your phone and choose the Social tab.
Here, you can see a short overview about the person and their profile, including weight and height. Through the story, you can even estimate their current age.
Marriage candidates in Starsand Island have more interactions than normal villagers, although you should aim to be friendly with everyone for the sake of being a good citizen.
You can increase your relationship with the residents by giving them gifts. If you manage to figure out the gifts they like or their favorite items, it will be recorded on their profile, making it easier for you to keep track of who likes what. The game also notes down disliked and hated gifts, but not neutral ones.
Since most things you give will likely fall into the neutral category, you have to track neutral preferences manually.
When you reach one heart with someone, the game says that you will start receiving gifts from them during daily interactions. However, this doesn’t seem to be a hard requirement, as you may still get gifts even before reaching one heart.
At two hearts, you can speak with the person to take a picture with them. You can still take photos through the regular method, but this one will directly involve the love interest.
Once you reach three hearts, you’ll get access to their room. The character’s private room will always be locked, but you can enter once you’re close enough to them. Inside each person’s room is a special gift for you to collect.
Reaching four hearts allows you to make requests at the request board, which will directly involve the character. For example, Zephyria can bring you items related to his adventure in Moonlit Forest, while Delphin can give you fish-related items.
Finally, once you reach the maximum of five hearts, you can ask your love interest to move in. They will come home when they’re done with their activities and help around the farm, like cleaning debris, petting animals, or watering the plants.
The game says that they will also sleep at home if you place an extra bed, but since you’ll likely sleep before they do, you can’t really see this part. The only evidence of this is that they will leave your house in the morning.
