Should You Kill Lizzie in High on Life 2?
When you finally fight your way through the Aviary to find Lizzie when she is surrounded by Bounty Hunters who have her at gunpoint at the very start of the story in High on Life 2, these would-be killers ask you to do the deed instead, claiming that as the G3 killer and the most famous Bounty Hunter in existence, it is your right to claim the 15,000,000 bounty on your sister’s head. As soon as they realize that you’ve arrived, they back off respectfully, leaving it up to you to do the deed.
Here, you’re presented with a seemingly impossible choice: kill Lizzie to keep true to the code of the Bounty Hunters, an organization that you have been a part of for the majority of the original High on Life game, or betray the faction that has been your identity for so long and side with Lizzie instead, killing the people who look up to you much more than your bratty sister. The mission statement clearly states: Find and Rescue Lizzie and Defeat the Bounty Hunters, but some players may be wondering what would happen if they really went through with killing Lizzie on the spot as the Hunters so earnestly demand. Would the game’s story change to accommodate? Or would something else happen?

What Happens If You Kill Lizzie in High on Life 2?
If you kill Lizzie during the mission to save her in High on Life 2, you unlock “The Good Ending” achievement, and the post-game credits start rolling, showing the names and titles of the game developers and the production team.
After the credits finish rolling (or you skip them), the game will forcefully reload to the previous checkpoint where Lizzie is being surrounded by the Bounty Hunters, putting you right back where you started. The option to kill Lizzie is not a real option at all, but a joke or a gag that has no lasting consequences. Lizzie cannot actually die. Unlike almost every other NPC in High on Life 2, she is a quest-giver and a main story character that serves as your guide for the rest of the playthrough.
The only way to progress the story is to kill the Bounty Hunters, which unlocks the “Broke the Code” achievement, turning you into a bona fide outlaw.
High on Life 2 does not have a save/reload option, as it uses the same auto-save format as the first High on Life. This means if you do not kill Lizzie and continue on with the story, the only way to get “The Good Ending” achievement is to start a new save.
