Umbral Monument Guide In Arknights Endfield
The first Umbral Monument stage starts with the “Those Forsaken by the Land” event in Arknights: Endfield. The event is split into three stages: Survive The Gas, Unorthodox Tactics, and Ballista and Axe. Each stage has its own mechanics, where players face different enemies and challenges. Here’s everything you need to know about the Umbral Monument stages in Arknights: Endfield.
Arknights Endfield Tier List
A tier list can help players assess the characters they have and which to prioritize; here’s Arknights: Endfield tier list.
Umbral Monument Stage 1 – Survive The Gas
Survive The Gas is the first stage of the Umbral Monument in Arknights: Endfield. This stage comes with Mist mechanics, where your team will slowly lose HP over time. During that time, the team needs to defeat enemies before they lose all their HP. The Mist DMG will increase as you clear more waves and more powerful enemies appear, putting more pressure on the team.
On the other hand, Survive The Gas comes with a positive mechanic where your team will get a portion of the healing whenever you heal the active character. This helps with managing a team that’s slowly dying and keeps them on the field longer. It also indicates that it’s important to bring a healer or two to this Umbral Monument stage in Arknights: Endfield. Notable Operators include Ardelia, Gilberta, and Ember, although there are also various 5-star characters who can heal.
For example, Last Rite team in Arknights: Endfield has both Ardelia and Xaihi to handle the team’s healing, giving the team more survivability. If your DPS is strong enough, and you’re good at dodging, one healer works fine as long as you’re keeping an eye on your team. For instance, Laevatain team can complete the challenge if you ensure the team doesn’t fall, which you can do by using Ardelia’s healing Skill whenever necessary.
Umbral Monument Stage 2 – Unorthodox Tactics
This stage is funny, but dangerous. Enemies in Unorthodox Tactics are stuck in one place and can’t move. However, it’s harder to stagger those enemies as they gain more ATK% the longer you leave them alive. So, it’s important to bring teams that have Burst or AoE DMG and can take out those enemies as quickly as possible.
Use Laevatain teams in Arknights: Endfield because of her powerful Ultimate that can deal massive AoE DMG. Once the team sets the field ready for her, she will unleash her Ultimate and start deleting enemies wave after wave.
Umbral Monument Stage 3 – Ballista And Axe
The last Umbral Monument stage is the Ballista and Axe stage in Arknights: Endfield. During that stage, you’ll face two elite enemies: Bonekrusher Executioner and Bonekrusher Ballista. They share the same HP and can deal some strong DMG that can and will take your active character out if they keep landing their shots. It’s important to focus more on dodging their attacks instead of dealing DMG to them, as their attacks really hurt.
The stage starts easily with the Bonekrusher Executioner jumping in the middle of the arena. He keeps spinning and jumping around, hunting for the active character while delivering short-range AoE attacks.
After defeating the Bonekrusher Executioner, he will return to the stage, and the Bonekrusher Ballista will immediately leap to your location, attacking your active character. This one does a lot of AoE long-range attacks and can be really hurtful if you don’t watch where and when he’s attacking.
After the Bonekrusher Ballista, both Bonekrushers will get on the field, starting another encounter, but this time they share their HP. The Ballista and Axe stage becomes more about the Executioner following your active character around, while the Ballista hunts them from a distance. Among all the Umbral Monument stages, this is where the real test is.
