How to Host a Grand Ball in The Sims 4

Just like any other social event in The Sims 4, players can host a Grand Ball by opening their phone, selecting the Social tab, and then clicking on the “Plan Social Event” option.

Players can create a Grand Ball social event with or without goals and rewards. Hosting these events grants the host Dynasty Prestige, boosts Royal favor, and improves the relationship between the host and guests. Additionally, if players decide to make it an event with goals, they will also receive rewards based on the Grand Ball’s ranking once it’s over.

Before or during the event, players must make sure that they acquire a Waltzing Dance Floor in Build Mode, as initiating a Grand Waltz is the main objective in the Grand Ball social event. Additionally, they also need a stereo, as music is required for the final dance.

Besides that, players should also consider getting a bar so the guests can dance the night away with a drink in hand. Here are some of the objectives that players will have to complete in order to throw a successful Grand Ball party in The Sims 4:

Help dance partner get in the right mood

Finding a dance partner for the Grand Waltz dance is very important in this social event. When gamers find a dance partner for Social Status, they should get them in a Confident mood, but if they find a dance partner for Romance, they should focus on getting them in a Flirty mood instead – doing so will increase chances of a successful Grand Waltz. If they find a dance partner for friendship, they just have to make sure that they’re good friends with their Sim of choice.
