How to Place Benevolent Graves in Nioh 3 (Righteous Jaspers)
Righteous Jaspers are one of the many different types of items players can find in Nioh 3. It’s directly tied to one of the game’s multiplayer components, and using them is a decent way to get materials and resources passively too. Still, for something so useful, Righteous Jaspers can be a bit hard to come by, but once you figure out where they drop or wherever else they can be obtained, you should have no trouble getting as many as you want. This Nioh 3 guide is all about Righteous Jaspers, including where they can be found, how to use them, and why you should bother getting some in the first place.
Those Who Live In Shadows Myth Guide In Nioh 3
Here’s how to find clues about the Mysterious Ninja to complete Those Who Live in Shadows Myth in Nioh 3.
Where to Find Righteous Jaspers in Nioh 3
The best way to get Righteous Jaspers is to just buy them. You can outright purchase Righteous Jaspers from the Sudama merchant in front of the Hamamatsu Castle Town (East) Shrine. They’re sold for 700 Gold each, and the Sudama usually has 9 of them in stock. You can find the merchant the moment you reach the entrance to the Crucible, and it’ll stay there even after you beat the first big story boss in Nioh 3.
Righteous Jaspers can occasionally be found as loot, whether as gatherables or as drops from enemies. Certain missions may also reward Righteous Jaspers as a reward, among other things, so try to finish as many side quests as you can if you want to progress as quickly (and conveniently as possible).
Offering boxes in front of Jizo statues may also give you Righteous Jaspers if you donate enough money.
What are Righteous Jaspers For?
Righteous Jaspers are for placing down Benevolent Graves, which work as summoning signs for friendly phantoms. This falls under the Nioh 3 co-op umbrella, but there’s just one thing: Benevolent Graves only summon NPC versions of the player who placed them.
To use a Righteous Jasper, go to the Items tab of your inventory, and look under Usable Items. Use the jasper to place a Benevolent Grave with a phantom bearing your likeness.
But Why, Though?
When your phantom successfully helps someone out during their adventures, it’ll take home some useful resources for you, such as Ochoko Cups.
To claim your Benevolent Grave rewards, go to any Shrine, then select the Preparation option. From there, press Boons, and you’ll automatically claim any rewards your friendly ghost may have gotten.
Perhaps more importantly, your phantoms will also give you Glory in Nioh 3, which you can use to get a bunch of useful perks via the Hidden Teahouse in the Eternal Rift.
