Marvel Rivals Players Can Claim New Free PS Plus Cosmetics

NetEase Games has revealed a new cosmetic pack for Marvel Rivals that will allow PS Plus subscribers to claim a free skin for the Duelist Winter Soldier along with a few other rewards. Marvel Rivals recently launched Season 5, which added the Strategist Gambit to the title’s ever-expanding roster and introduced a whole new battle pass.

The popular hero shooter has been on a bit of a hot streak lately, as Marvel Rivals recently saw a sharp increase in players with the release of its Marvel Zombies game mode. In fact, the mode turned out to be such a hit, the developers extended the length of the event and promised that similar PvE modes are on the way. Unfortunately, the developers haven’t shared when players might be able to get their hands on these upcoming modes. However, NetEase Games has shared a roadmap for Season 5 that revealed the popular mutant Rogue will be coming to the title in December.

PS Plus Subscribers Can Claim a Free Winter Soldier Skin in Marvel Rivals

NetEase Games has released a new bundle for PS Plus subscribers that will allow players to claim free cosmetics for Winter Soldier in Marvel Rivals. The skin in question is Winter Soldier’s Revolution costume, which has been available in the game’s shop since it released in December 2024. In addition to gaining access to a free skin, players will be rewarded with a spray, MVP screen, and nameplate from the same set. Gamers will even be granted 300 Chrono Tokens, which they can use to claim rewards from Marvel Rivals‘ Season 5 battle pass.

All the cosmetics in the PS Plus bundle are also available in the Reformer bundle for Winter Soldier in Marvel Rivals, which can be purchased for 1,600 Units in the game’s shop. The bundles, however, are not identical, as the one available in the shop also includes the Brand New Arm emote. PS Plus subscribers who want to acquire the emote from the same set do have the option to purchase it separately with Units. If gamers don’t have enough Units available, they can use Lattice as a substitute, which is Marvel Rivals‘ premium currency.

Gamers who aren’t PS Plus subscribers can still claim the Revolution skin for free, but it may take a bit of extra work. NetEase Games regularly gives the community opportunities to earn Units and Costume Coins for free in Marvel Rivals. Players who happen to have a spare Costume Coin in their inventory can currently exchange it in the game’s shop for Winter Soldier’s Revolution costume, though it won’t come with any of the other goodies. With so much content to enjoy and even more on the way, many fans are feeling optimistic about the future of Marvel Rivals.
