The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered Has Problems Across the Board — IGN Daily Fix

In today’s Daily Fix:

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered has been out for several weeks now, and the more gamers put time into it, the more problems they find. Our colleagues at Digital Foundry ran tests on all available versions of the game, and found significant performance issues on the console and PC versions. One of the worst issues would be a hard crash of the game that happens when loading the same save too many times, and a camera problem when playing the game for too long. There’s also framerate hiccups all throughout the game across all versions. In slightly happier news, Tony Hawk wants a remake of Tony Hawk’s Underground, the sub-franchise of the popular skating games that debuted in 2003. With the release of Tony Hawk’s 3 + 4 later this year, we could be one step closer to another remake. And finally, Marvel’s Thunderbolts*—sorry, Marvel’s The New Avengers—remained number 1 at the domestic box office in its second weekend. The latest entry in the MCU dropped about 44%, which is less than the second week drops of Captain America: Brave new World, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, and the third Ant-Man movie. Globally, New Avengers is approaching $280 million, but needs to hit around $360 million to «break even» for Disney.
